Welcome to 19 Broad.
We care deeply about our property and our guests.

19 Broad is downtown Charleston's finest rental accommodation, with a location second to none — perfect for couples, families and business travelers who seek the space and privacy of a full apartment without the expense and hassle of a hotel room.

Located on historic Broad Street at the junction of the French Quarter and historic Charlestowne ("South of Broad") neighborhoods, 19 Broad is prominently positioned among the best shopping, dining, architecture, parks, gardens and historic sights in Charleston. On our first floor you will find Normandy Farm Artisan Bakery (day) and Bar Normandy (night), notably featured in Bon Appétit's America's Best New Restaurants 2017.

19 Broad's accommodations include a pied-a-terre apartment and two studio apartments, collectively able to accommodate a party of ten guests, but also able to accommodate multiple parties comfortably and independent of one another. Our guest rooms feature quality home furnishings, ample bathrooms with tile floors and showers, generous social spaces, equipped cooking and dining spaces, complimentary WiFi and cable TV. Our charming circa 1794 property, formerly the site of the News and Courier and the Bank of the State of South Carolina, boasts original Charleston brick hearths and heart pine floors, period millwork, original moulding and spacious rooms with high ceilings (click here to visit our Gallery).
